The ordinary apple tree goes unnoticed by the distracted passerby. In autumn, the leafless tree gloomingly bears its fruits and humbly offers them to the contemplative man. Vaggelis Polyzos, with great sensitivity, discerns beauty in simplicity and then captures it, never failing to leave his mark. The fusion of bronze, alpaca and coral is almost organic. Before the finished artwork, the observer loses sight of the apple tree they know. They disappear into the little sculpture that, proudly bearing its tall branches, shows us how to stand strong through the course of time.
