The pomegranate has lost its leaves, but not its fruits, eternal symbols of prosperity and good fortune, clutched by the tree's long, dry branches. The melancholy of the bare, slender tree in no way diminishes its beauty and majesty. With care and sensitivity, Vaggelis Polyzos created a work of art and left nothing to chance. The shadow of the branches, like barded wire, seems both frightening and liberating. When facing obstacles in life, turning to nature is undoubtedly a path to freedom.
